The 3rd week of ICMED training programme was held in Marrakesh (Morocco) and organized by the University of Hassan 1er of Settat on 26-28 November 2018, with the participation of around 20 representatives of Algerian, Moroccan and Tunisian universities and trainers from the Universities of Granada (Spain), Iasi (Romania), Cagliari (Italy) as member of UNIMED and Louvain (Belgium) as member of the Coimbra Group.

The training programme was divided into several different sessions and dealt with significant issues related to the international mobility opportunities, for students and staff and more specifically on recognition of the students and staff activities carried out abroad.

The sessions of the agenda were focused on the ECTS system vs. non-credit systems and national grading, the recognition main instruments and supporting documents, the monitoring of the recognition process at HEI level, the recognition of the staff activities, good practices to achieve flexibility in recognition, case studies in recognition exercise and group discussion.

The event was a good occasion also for sharing concrete experiences, discussing possible strategies of cooperation among countries and hot topics about ICM.
